About Tascur

Tascur is still in early development. Here is the latest news...

Tascur v0.2 (Burnham) Release

September 28th, 2023

Tascur v0.2 is the second public beta release and the first major update of Tascur. Even though we've put it through some pretty decent alpha texting, it comes with no guarantee that it will operate properly. It is still very much software in beta testing status.

The v0.2 release fixes the following bugs:

  • Repeating tasks that were completed early now get scheduled again in a more predictable (and desirable) way.
  • Edit task pop-up for repeating tasks didn't always show the correct fields.
  • Adjusted task list display on large screens to more.
  • Corrected issue where multiple success or failure messages wouldn't always fade out correctly.

The v0.2 release comes with the following new features:

  • Users can now be logged in to multiple devices at the same time.
  • Add a preference setting that allows users to pick what days they want Stack tasks scheduled on.
  • New and edit task pop-ups have been heavily re-worked.
  • Task descriptions can now contain markdown.
  • Users are now asked to verify their email on account creation.
  • New and edit task pop-ups now no longer close automatically.
  • Added links to the cookie policy and privacy settings.
  • Better error reporting to user.
  • Updated logo to a cute little dog.

Tascur v0.1 (Archer) Release

August 27th, 2023

Tascur v0.1 is the initial public beta release of Tascur. Even though we've put it through some pretty decent alpha testing, it comes with no guarantee that it will operate properly. It is still very much software in beta testing status.

The v0.1 release comes with the following features:

  • Basic account management, including registration and password resets.
  • Basic task management with automatic (and manual) due date setting.
  • Task repeat functionality, including daily, weekly on one or more days, monthly on a specific day, a set number of days after completion, and automatic repeat due date.
  • Added a few items to a FAQ to answer task scheduling questions and explain some of our terminology.
